3D laser scanning is a rapid method of remotely surveying millions of XYZ data points into a 3D pointcloud with an accuracy approx +/- 3 millimeters. Ideal for mass data collection and surveying awkward areas for example; cliff erosion, slope stability, quarry face update, live trafficked roads, flood risk areas, building elevations, high-rise buildings, historic & archeological sites, bridges and viaducts, tunnels and dams. Tagging 360 degree photographs and additional land survey data along with laser scan data can also greatly benefit the client / architect.
